What should I put on my Christmas list?

Q. I'm really into health/beauty/food etc so I'm looking for stuff like that. One thing I'm asking for this vegan cookbook. I don't have many ideas for my list besides the vegan cookbook, teeth whitening trays, a new jacket, gift cards, perfume, and maybe another purse. Can someone help me? =) Thanks =)

A. Well... I'm going to go out on a limb and say...have whoever you're giving the list to donate to some animal cause? Just a thought. My girlfriends friend has people bring donations for the humane society on her birthday. Like towels, and peanut butter for the dogs, and just a bunch of stuff for the animals. I know you're wanting Christmas ideas for yourself but just a thought. My friend does stuff like that for Christmas... She's so selfless that it makes you feel like crap for wanting stuff... XD ANYWAYS!

Uh... I'm kind of at a loss... Sorry. D:

What should I get my boss for her birthday?
Q. My boss's birthday is coming up next weekend and I have not idea what to get her. She is a financial advisor in NYC (oringially from Kansas). She is going to be 52, loves to golf, and is a vegan. I've worked for her for a little over 2 years and we have a great relationship. She really cool and down to earth. In the past for X-mas I have gotten her a plant, vegan books, and a cute pen set that looks like golf clubs. I was thinking a gift certificate for a spa - but then she'll know how much I spent. Plus, I'm pretty broke. Any suggestions?

A. How about a cool day planner for the next year (2008) where she can write appointments, etc.? Most office stores (Office Max, Office Depot, Brookstone, Bags N Baggage, etc.) would have them and they cost as little as $10.00 - $20.00 for one. Some even come with a calculator, pen, paper, calendar, etc. and are decorated with golf or other motifs.
