My best female friend 23rd birthday is coming up. I asked her what she would like. She said she would like the movie "Pretty Woman" and the music CD "Three days grace". Thought of getting her a card too. So I suppose she knows what she will be getting..so I am thinking of getting those things but I also been wondering about other opinions..what esle would be good for a friend's 23rd birthday? Any ideas?

go to your local movie theater and get her a gift certificate, or a certificate for bowling or anything fun and or adventurous. I know thats what I would want from a close guy friend...it's fun stuff that you could possibly do together that shows that you care, but isn't crossing the line between friends and more than friends

I'm a Guy, and my BF's Birthday is coming up and the problem is I'm currently between jobs so I can't spend alot of money. I was hoping for any suggestions that a girl might like on her B-day. Something made perhaps?

[I originally had an idea to actually make her a Cake, like a full blown one, as there's an inside joke we share with her and food. I don't want to do that only cause I know that she'll get a cake from her family anyways, so it'd be almost pointless]
I've also planned on including a Birthday LETTER instead of a card. So far its just over 2 pages long, and it just details how I've saw her over the years and how much she means to me as a great friend. I just wanna know what i should get (or make) her for a main gift....

Need a female birthday gift idea?

My fiance Will be turning 23 this friday, and I am taking her on a romantic getaway at a resort, and I reserved the romantic room and everything, and the place does lots of special things for her while she is there. But, I still need an idea of something that I could get her as a gift. I cant think of a gift that would even compare to the romantic getaway. She is extremely low maintenance, she does like some jewelry, just not much. She doesn't wear makeup, and she never asks for anything. She is a college student full time. She works very hard every day at school, and she deserves a little break. Basically, I need a gift for the woman who doesn't need or want anything.

It seems like this getaway for her is all that she needs =)!!! That's such an amazing gesture already!!!! You said she likes some jewelry but not probably anything too big or glamours, why don't you get her a small diamond necklace of some sort or some kind of jewelry that she can keep forever. Jewelry is something that she can take home with her from the resort and when she looks at it she will remember the amazing time she had with you there. If you get her something small and simple she could wear it with any outfit. I have a friend of mine that doesn't wear jewelry and also doesn't wear makeup (she's kind of a tomboy). But her boyfriend got her a small heart necklace made from gold and she loved it, and wore it with everything. It's just an idea but I am not sure how you feel about it. My husband also got me a diamond heart necklace and I wear it everyday, because it's simple and goes with everything. Just an idea and maybe you've totally crossed off jewelry already but it's always an option....it's something she can have forever.

So my friend's birthday is tomorrow and I need help about what to get her. I was thinking of buying her an iTunes gift card worth 15$ and then throw in some nail polish stuff and lip gloss and stuff from like Smackers. Is that a good idea? Because I'm always clueless when it comes to gifts.

I got my fourteen year old bestfriend a photo album filled with pictures of her and her friends and places we have been together. I also got 20 people on myspace to make signs for her :D Haha, she loved it.

Get her a really nice book. Like a beautiful one, hardcover, with an amazing story. Make the card yourself. A scarf, a beautiful bag, a picture for her wall, a mix cd you've made yourself, bake her a batch of cookies. It's not about splashing the cash, you know who she is, you can make it personal.

I loved your avatar picture and question about alcohol :-). What if you present her with Itunes gift certificate or gift card from some big store or store where they sell women's stuff ? It will not be too personal and in the same way you will show her that you still accept her as a woman, not simple as friend.
