My good friend is 30. She is married and very soon is her birthday, the current plan is bbq surpise at a park but it is estimated 80% rain that day.
I am asking for fun indoor ideas for plan B. We live in NJ, couple of miles away from NYC.
Also I can't seem to figure out what to get for her. I am looking for some input on that too.
(She is a sport who loves dance, musical instrument, art craft and design, jewelries, food, a good read book). Ps she is not picky

Well i don't know about the place but you can give her something creative by making a basket from this site http://craftyjournal.com/origami-basket/ and fill it with her favorite chocolate and sweets and go to beach and collect shells and make her a shell necklace or give her a nice sweet valley kids series books or a flute

My friend wants to have a sweeet 16 party but not like a huge bash she wants to do something with a few ideas. were in ny and we cant really go to like an island for a week cause of summer school. we can go to nyc ideas?
