Ideas on what to give my deployed boyfriend for his birthday/christmas?

Sammy

Well his birthday is Dec 22nd and Christmas is only 3 days later... So I want to give him a nicer gift (im on a budget, nothing over $200-250) He's currently deployed so I'm very limited as to what I can send. I already sent him a care package for Thanksgiving with a bunch of food and hygiene products as well as some sedimental stuff.

I'm running out of ideas. If he was here it'd be easier.. I already asked him what he wanted and he said he doesn't know.

-He cant use a phone, so no phone accesories
-Nothing too large because when he comes back he's won't have a lot of room
-Isn't a photo guy, so no cameras
-No more sedimental stuff (we've been together over 3 years, he's had enough lol)
-no typical care package gifts
-no alcohol, porn or racy pictures, or weapons
-cant even burn him a CD because of the law
-cant wear jewelery because he's an electrian and its out of rags
-cant wear any civilian clothes
-no military crap, they dont want to be reminded that theyre not home for the holidays
-no food that will expire (takes about 1-2 weeks to get there)

IM STUCK. :( and I can't give him nothing on his birthday/christmas that wouldn't be right...

any military wives/girlfriends that have been stuck in this spot? any men that have deployed and really wanted something?

or any ideas will help at this point.. Thanks :)

Answer
you say no food that expires quick, what about chocolates? though they might melt, so maybe some rock candy. You say no civilian clothes, does that include socks? A clock with his favourite character maybe, or a nice photo frame with both of you. Not sure if i helped, but just some thoughts :) x

I'm low on money and my wife's birthday is on Tuesday. I really want to make it special for her. Any ideas?

Thank you everyone! :) I'll take your ideas and make it a really nice day.

Answer
Depending who wakes up and goes to work in the morning, or maybe both of you do? START THE DAY RIGHT

-- make a point to say ' good morning, I love you! you're wonderfull, happy birthday sweetheart" and make her a coffee, grab her a muffin or pick a single stem flower from the garden. Give her a quick back rub or play with her hair.

Do what you can with the time you have just to start out the day. If you spend all day thinking about this, but forget about the morning.. it's going to be very hard to make up for her thinking you fogot..
The, when you get home, do the housework for her, or with her, and put on some music while you do it. Spin her around the house, tell her she;s amazing and cook her dinner.

At night, turn the lights down low, continue that backrub into a full body massage, and spoil her with love. If you can't afford massage oil, make some by using a little olive oil and add in a couple drops of lavender oil ( to relax) or peppermint extract ( to awaken).

Make her night even more special after with love session focused on her needs..

and that will be all the gifts she'll need...

just your complete love, admiration and attention :)
