Birthday gift ideas for a 15 year old girl?

Hi, I'm turning 15 tomorrow and my dad is wondering what I want for my birthday. I already told him, a puppy, or some kind of pet, laser hair remover, or electrical drums. He said those are off his price range....and now i'm totallly stumped. I have no idea what I want for my birthday. Any ideas?

I'm a girl, i LOVE music so much, and singing. I want to lose a little weight. I love clothes, but I don't think I want clothes for my birthday. I like jewellry but I don't think I want that either.

I'm so stumped. Ugh. Wish I was 5 years old again and could get a barbie and be happy until my next birthday.

Well, think about what you will use the most! The best gift is one that you will use on a daily basis and you can treasure forever. I suggest you get yourself a beautifully handcrafted wooden jewelry box where you can keep safe your jewelry and trinkets. My mother got me a nice jewelry box from MarqArt during my birthday a few months ago and I really like it! Totally unique and looks good on my dresser too. Check their collection, I'm sure you can find one that you want.

I'm 15. My friends birthday was a few days ago, but I'm planning to give her present when we go back to school next week. I'm having trouble thinking of ideas for the present. She and another one of my friends gave me a beautiful butterfly canvas for my bedroom (probably $35-$40) and a chocolate birthday cake for my birthday. I don't really want to give her money or a gift card or any moisturisers, toiletries etc. I really want the present to be about the same value (price) of what she gave me. Any ideas? Please HELP me!

3) Perfume
4) (does she wear makeups?) Get her some sweet blushers, eye liners, gloss, or great brushes.
5) Give her a treat to nail polish
6) If she happens to have a crush on someone at school, make a deal with him to have dinner with her and you pay for it as a birthday treat.
7) Treat her for a movie with you, or her best friends, or with the guy she likes!
8) Get her a watch

Either a build-a-bear kit as one of the invitees, or a tiara or a fancy dress-up dress or an easy bake oven.

Then make it unique! Make the cookies with her!! Help her make finger-painted placemats and help her wrap silverware in napkins. Help her make "tea sandwiches" with the crusts off and triangular.

Make a chef's/baker's hat and put a towel over your arm as her butler/maitre d'.

Take pictures or movies and make a scrapbook page for her.

I'd say hit a crafts store, like Michael's, and head to the childrens area... my 6 year old daughter and I go every month or so, and get "projects".... they're usually pretty reasonably priced, (Michael's usually has 40% off coupons in the sales paper) and offer a variety of different types of things the little girl can do herself, such as make jewelry, pottery, bouncing balls... she can "knit" herself a purse, make and decorate a jewelry box, or "sew" together a stuffed animal! the pieces are made of plastics, fabrics, etc, nothing that can cause injury, and the appropriate age listings are right there on the box. Best of all, by getting her something she can make herself, your giving her a unique gift that allows the little girl to use her imagination and create something all her own.

P.S. I also take my 10 year old niece when she's visiting us, and one of her favorite parts of our weekends is when we all do projects together! Plus, she has keepsakes when she goes back home!

I need to know a good gift idea for an adorable little girl turning 5 years old. She is my fiance's second cousin and, of course, he doesn't know what to get her either.
Any suggestions? We were told she needed socks...but I want to get her something fun that she will enjoy as well!

if they say she needs socks then you should get her socks :) they could be an assortment of socks with designs, cartoons, patterns, characters, etc.

besides that, for my 5 year old cousins i like to bring them treats. sometimes it's sweets and sometimes they are fruits/veggies disguised as animals or characters. kids love them because they are cute and fun to eat. the parent's would probably praise you for getting them to eat healthy too!

If it's pricey you can go for a ipod, celphone, camera, ds, psp.. Teens usualy want the latest technology lol.
Vouchers, for a store they like, for anything really depending on interests..
If she's like quite girly you can get her something like a hair curler or hair straigtener if she doesn't have one, make-up, nail polish etc etc.. hair accesories like hair extensions or something.
If she's into like disney.. can get her something to do with miley cyrus, jonas brothers etc. Theres a little bit of merchandise around.
It all depends on her interests and what she's like.
Living in different cities, you can get her something you can only get in Auckland.
Just some ideas, theres lots of things that are good to send in the mail.. if i knew more about her i could porbbaly give better answers.

My girls love crafts. They've gotten gifts like a make-your-own-scrapbook, decorate-a-magic-wand, paints, markers, stickers, stamps, etc. Melissa & Doug have some really cute things.

If she's a girly girl, she may like books like Fancy Nancy or Pinkalicious.

Dress-up clothes and accessories can be fun, too. When my younger daughter turned 4, one of her favorite gifts was a box of dress-up shoes, and she played with those for more than a year before she outgrew them (and she has pretty big feet).

Another great idea is a tea set.

Or go with a summer fun pack -- flip flops, sunglasses, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, sun hat, squirt gun, and/or other outside toys.

My 2yo was more interested in sticking his fingers in the icing rather than what was on the cake itself, but I would go with Bob the Builder, Go Diego Go, Thomas the Tank, or anything boy-ish.

As far as toys are concerned, my son LOVES anything that he can build. The Duplo blocks are the huge legos. He will sit for hours building stuff. We also bought him a huge box of wooden shapes and he builds stuff with those too. He also likes the MagnaDoodles. I can rely on it anywhere to keep him occupied, especially in the car! The aquadoodle mats are cool because he can draw on them, the water dries, then he can draw again. I saw a bunch of new ones at the store the other day...

Were having a party AT HOME for a 14 year old girl, its scheduled for early afternoon ending evening time with family. Many ideas are out the door since her friends not involved and will take place at home. Were thinking of hiring a magician but seems too baby-ish, anyone with any good ideas please share.

I moved a lot in my youth, and many times I didn't have many friends for birthday parties, and had them just with my family. They were some of the funnest ones, too.

This is my suggestion - and my favorite:

Have everyone who is going to be at the party (Mom, dad, siblings, birthday girl, etc.) go to the dollar store, and each person spend $5 worth of random items. So that everyone accumulates 5 things. Try to check out separately so it is more of a surprise.

When you get home, have everyone grab a few sections of a newspaper, and individually wrap each gift, then set on a table. Those will be the 'prizes' for the games you guys can play. It's really fun because you don't know what is in most of them (sometimes I would try to find the ones I picked out because I liked the things I chose lol).

You can play 1 game, or several. At my party we would place a dice game, where everyone takes turns trying to roll doubles. If you got doubles, you could pick a prize, if not you had to pass the dice to the next person. Or if you have any board games, those work nicely too, and make the party last longer.
