Q. my birthday is christmas eve so i have to think of this all at the same time. i am turning 14 this year and i am getting nowhere with xmas lists. i already have an ipod, cellphone, wii, guitar, ihome, just went to NYC. i dont want to ask my parents for too much because we arnt exactly the richest people at the moment. i REALLY want an ipod touch but again, i dont want to ask them for alot. A. Go for cheap makeup and lipgloss. Bonne Bell nailpolish is cheap and comes in a lot of color choices at walmart or target. There's also a lot of fun flavors of lip Smackers and NYC has inexpensive lip gloss.
Also, if you're making gift bags then throw in some candy and confetti. Go by Claire's for ideas, too. They have a 50 cent table with lots of various beauty items.

Q. My boyfriend and I been together for almost 8 months. His birthday is in late June and I want to give him something special for his birthday. He's turning 19. We don't live near each other, but we go to the same college during the school year. I'm in NYC and he's in Cali. I need some ideas of birthday gifts. Please help, it'll be much appreciated. :)
A. Please don't be a girl that spends $200 on a birthday present after only a relatively short time together. A present like this will make him happy but not as happy as you may expect. The best present I ever gave to my girl friend was a home made photo album of all the pics from the time we had been together for. Its in expensive, thoughtful and is something you no he'll keep. May decorative, and colourful with little caption ie. "our day at the beach" etc. Me and my girl friend always have a price limit or a theme for birthday's, christmas's etc. eg. No more then $15 or it must be homemade. etc.
If you dont have the time, a nice bottle of his favourite alcohol should do it.
