i need ideas for gifts for a teen girl who's turning 17. she doesn't want any clothes or jewelery. maybe dvds but what are some good ones?
movies she likes comedy, action, and drama. and she's not a girly girl. but she also would like some good books. like popular teen books (not twilight, clique, gossipe girl etc.) or some popular authors like jodi picoult

I am going to have to be a negative on the twilight DVD. The only people who actually liked that movie were horny 14 year olds, the rest of us just find it annoying a poorly done.
However here are some good ideas, some require a little digging into her life to see if she wants them.

Birthday gift ideas for teenager?
I need to get my friend a present, she'll be 15 soon, and I have no idea what to get her.
People always say to me "think of something you would want", but i don't really know :/.
She's not really into make up, or stuff like that. Likes older music like The Smiths, Led Zeppelin etc, and I guess you could say she was sort of indie.
I didn't really want to spend more than £10, because I don't have much money at the moment, but any ideas are welcome, links would be even better.
