I need birthday gift ideas?

I need ideas on what to get my boyfriend for his birthday. It is March 23rd and he will be 19. He has already told me he wants something we can go to together.. Like tickets to a game or something of that sort.

But I have a problem... I know nothing about sports, so I have no idea what is going on around his birthday.

He likes the Chicago bulls but I just googled them and they don't have any games around his birthday.

Any one have ideas of tickets I could get?

"they don't have any games around his birthday" ? I mean even if there aren't any games on his actual birthday doesnt mean you can't go to a game right before or after it. Do you live in Chicago? If so there's a game on Monday the 18th of March vs Denver Nuggets and a game Saturday on his birthday the 23rd vs Indiana Pacers. They are both in Chicago.

I am looking for a nice Chicago Blackhawks item to give to my mom on her birthday. She all ready has a red Blackhawks jersey. She asked for a pink Chicago Blackhawks T-Shirt. But the problem is I can not find a good one to give her. Please suggest a nice new pink Blackhawks T-Shirt that I could give to my mom. Or please suggest something else she could wear. No swimwear. I am looking for something that is outerwear.

What to do for my Grandmas birthday?

It is my Grandmas Birthday in November and she will be 90. She still drives, is totally with it, drinks, dances, she is 90 going on about 75. All the grand kids want to do something that is a surprise. It is on a weekend so we can all make it but just not sure what exactly to do. She can walk good and all that, but just thinking of some good gift ideas and surprise ideas, and we live in Chicago. Any suggestions would be great, thank you.

A scrapbook may be a good idea. If you can get pictures of her through out her life, you could "interview" her and include her memories and thoughts and stories. You could also get stories from other members of the family to include. Or instead of making it a scrapbook of her life, you could make one of his cherished family members from when she was young Or you could make it about how she has affected your life. Either way, it's the stories and memories are what will truly make this a very special gift.

Gift ideas for my girlfriends birthday?

I'm 16 and her birthday is a few weeks after Christmas, so all of my good ideas went towards Christmas. I was thinking about getting tickets to go see the Blue Man Group until I found out that they only play in like Chicago, New York, Boston, and Vegas. So that would of been sweet but now that that is out of the question I need another idea. I want to do something that will totally surprise her and be fun, not something boring like jewlrey. So someone please help me.

Well I think your on the right track, but one of the interesting things about a concert is that it can be hard to talk and relate I mean you can do it but it's difficult. When I was your age I took my girl out shopping and bought her a complete outfit (yes EVERYTHING -- head to toe) and then we went to a nice dinner. It was so hott to know that everything she had on we picked out together it was like she was wearing my OUTFIT. so everytime she wore it or whatever I felt special, and we had a great dinner.

Q. So... he doesn't have a lot of things he's passionate about. He likes wearing hats, so I might get him that. But that's definitely not enough, and I've got no clue what to get him. I'd take him out for a day around Chicago, but we go there all the time and I want something special. Either as a present or a special day to hang out, what should I do?

I don't know exactly how old you are, so I'm going to throw a bunch of ideas out there. (Your idea was really good).

Well I don't know if you guys are still in college or not. (But if you are, I'm sure you stay up pretty late sometimes studying.
So I would suggest something from Starbucks.
They have these coffee kits and they come with like 6 types of coffee that's really good. (It's $12.00)
OR there is this other kind that has just one type of coffee along with some Swiss Chocolate. (It's $8.00)

If he isn't a coffee drinker maybe get him a themed assortment basket. It could include:
- a movie he wants to see or his favorite movie
- two bags of popcorn
- some candy
- a blanked
- some snacks
- a t-shirt that relates


Something else you can do, if he's turning 21, or is over, he might be excited that he can legally drink. So you could get him:
- an assortment of some drinks that he would like.
- a gift card to a nearby bar (or something along those lines)

None of these are really expensive but if you are on a really low budget maybe you could do one of these:
- give him like a "pass" that says like one whole day to do whatever you like.
- make him dinner and have a "you two" day/night. along with a little something like a box of chocolates.

The problem is he has everything he wants and can get whatever he wants and i am going to do something thoughtful (suprise dinner) but i really think i should have a gift to give him. He is just so thoughtful when he buys me gifts. I need something a little expensive, tasteful and elegant, but not too expensive. About 300-500 dollars. Any suggestions??

Take him to a show or play like the shows they have in Vegas or New York or Chicago if you are close to any of those cities.
You could also get a chef to come over and prepare his favorite dish. With what you are planning to spend should be enough.

Last year for my 35th birthday, he got me tickets to the Chicago Cubs game against the Philadelphia Phillies. It was a really fun experience! Go Cubs. :)

As a gesture of goodwill, I'd like to get him something he might enjoy as well, since he's practically family.

My wife isn't much help in giving me ideas. I guess they don't actually spend that much time talking.

I got my husband's boyfriend a new Samsung 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV, and he's really enjoyed it. So, maybe electronics are the way to go? That way you'll both be able to enjoy the game together in hi-def when getting tickets isn't feasible.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure he'll appreciate you thoughtful gesture of friendship.

My boyfriend and I are going to move to the area. He loves to golf and I would like to know about the different golf courses/centers in the area. I have never golfed. It is almost his birthday and I would like to surprise him with some type of golfing excursion or golfing gift certificates. Do you have any ideas as to where/what I can give him?
