My boyfriend of 3 years will be turning 28 next week. I asked him what he would like to do for his birthday and he said to get drunk on the beach (we will be in nags head,NC). and he wants lots of liquor and cookies. Should I just get him a bottle of his favorite or would you get an actual gift?

My ex wanted to get drunk for his birthday too. So, I put a bunch of tiny lil notes in balloons, blew them up, placed them around and surrounded his gift (drink, whatever) with a bunch of hershey kisses and a note that said "You deserve more kisses than this" he said it was the best birthday present ever :D

If you are good friends, get a very sweet card (the best are blank cards you write in. FILL IT UP!) and a book she wants really badly. if you guys are ex's, and dating other people, but still kinda flirt, get her a big red rose and give it to her right in front of her boyfriend. just don't give her more than you give your current girlfriend. if you aren't dating, don't worry about it. if she isn't, but you still flirt a bit, give her a rose. give her the card not matter what.

My boyfriend and I are coming up on our first anniversary and he wants to get me a promise ring. Well, I think that's wonderful and all, but I can't figure out something equivalent to get him. He's not big on jewelry, so a ring in return is out of the picture. I want something engravable. Any ideas?

I'm going away to college in the fall and thought a calendar would be a cute, inexpensive idea as a little remember me gift for my boyfriend. I'm planning on making special days different colors (ex our anniversary, birthdays, etc) and was wondering some other cute ideas to do. also i'm looking for ideas as what to put as the front cover and the picture for each month. I'm pretty good with photoshop and those sort of programs so i was gonna do a lot of it on there. any help would be appreciated! thanks!

Well each month can have a picture of a place you two have gone to. Or like a memorable concert, movie, etc you went to on that month.

I had an ex boyfriend that did this for me and i'll never forget this. (It was the one sweet thing he did the whole time we were together)

Get some hershey kisses and when she's asleep, put a trail of them into the shower. Then put flowers and rose pettles in the shower. Put a note in it saying, "now that I've kissed the ground you walk on, and showered you with flowers, join me for dinner tonight at __:___. " You can also say breakfast, and make her a fantastic breakfast with all the works. If she works, I would suggest doing it before she comes home and hide when she gets home. Then come behind her when she finds your note and be dressed up and all ready for dinner. It would be even better if you made the dinner yourself and had a candlelight dinner for two set up where she can't see it when she gets inside.

What you should do is ask him if he has any other hobbies, if he doesn't, do what you feel is right, if he does then get him something that has to do with that hobby. You could also give him what my ex-boyfriend gave me for my birthday, a kiss.

What's a good Christmas gift tradition for me and my boyfriend to start?

Q. So we're saving the really thoughtful gifts for birthdays and valentines day but we would like something fun and creative to do for a christmas gift. Preferably something we can do every year as a tradition but put a new spin on it. Any suggestions?

A. You may do them on top of gifts.. but christmas stockings are a great thing! They are perfect because you can go out and get lots of fun little things and you have lots to look through! Another fun idea that is kind of like stockings would be a christmas box. Get a box from the dollar store that you feel is the appropriate size. Every year your gift has to fit in the box and you can add a rule every year. (ex. something with red on it, more then one thing, it has to have handles) Or a nice photo album. Every year you take all of the pictures from the months before and put them in a nice album, great way to keep memories. Sounds like you guys have it all workede out, so Merry Christmas and I hope I helped (:
