Birthday Gift Ideas. HELP!!!!?

My boyfriend turns 27 on Sunday and I have no idea what to do for his birthday. I don't have a huge budget to go all out like I want to, but I feel like dinner and a movie is a lame way to go about it.

We live in Las Vegas, he doesn't drink, I want to do something special and relatively inexpensive, I don't want to spend more than $150.

I know he wants a new tv, but the one he wants in 500 bucks, so thats not an option, he loves anything sportwise that has to do with Chicago, but he seriously has EVERYTHING, and plus I got him a NFL jersey for Xmas.

I am stumped, I need some possible ideas to branch off from.

Simple answer: make him something. Start with a homemade card that tells him how much you care for him.

Have a picture frame with an image of the two of you together in it.

Make him a candy/cookie jar: get a plastic jar, decorate it with Chicago sports team stickers or paint logos on it and make sure his name is on the lid and the base. Then fill the jar with his favorite candy or baked good.

Lastly, (if he's a white sox fan) go to a fabric store and pick up like a yard of white felt. Fold it over and cut out a sock pattern. Glue the edges together and decorate the outside like the white sox logo. Put all the gifts you got him in the sock and give the big gift package to him.

The problem is he has everything he wants and can get whatever he wants and i am going to do something thoughtful (suprise dinner) but i really think i should have a gift to give him. He is just so thoughtful when he buys me gifts. I need something a little expensive, tasteful and elegant, but not too expensive. About 300-500 dollars. Any suggestions??

Take him to a show or play like the shows they have in Vegas or New York or Chicago if you are close to any of those cities.
You could also get a chef to come over and prepare his favorite dish. With what you are planning to spend should be enough.

What are the best places to golf in the Chicagoland area?
My boyfriend and I are going to move to the area. He loves to golf and I would like to know about the different golf courses/centers in the area. I have never golfed. It is almost his birthday and I would like to surprise him with some type of golfing excursion or golfing gift certificates. Do you have any ideas as to where/what I can give him?

but my sisters boyfriends house just burned down and he lost everything.
and it's his birthday in a few weeks and i wanted to get him some clothes or gift cards.
but I have no idea where to go to get them..
My style is more abercrombie the buckle ect. and i know he doesn't like any of that (because he makes fun of me when i shop there lol). soo
can someone give me some suggestions or something?

Where are you located? What other stores are near? My brothers usually shop at department stores like Boston Store and Macy's. But I also know that they shop at Urban stores (that have the type of clothing they like) that are only located where we live. So either one of these choices would be a great place to start. Oh yea as far as brands...Rocawear, Polo, Phat Farm, LRG, Ed Hardy, Coogi, Sean John, Akademiks, Lacoste...the list goes on and on. It just depends on the person. So maybe a gift card would be better!

Chicago is not far from me, I am in Milwaukee. I am guessing that they definitely have the department stores and you should be able to find an urban store within a shopping center. Also the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg has a store called Metropark I believe (don't quote me) that would have what you are looking for.

Last year for my 35th birthday, he got me tickets to the Chicago Cubs game against the Philadelphia Phillies. It was a really fun experience! Go Cubs. :)

As a gesture of goodwill, I'd like to get him something he might enjoy as well, since he's practically family.

My wife isn't much help in giving me ideas. I guess they don't actually spend that much time talking.

What are some ideas to give a guy for a gift to let him know you appreciate his friendship?

I got my husband's boyfriend a new Samsung 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV, and he's really enjoyed it. So, maybe electronics are the way to go? That way you'll both be able to enjoy the game together in hi-def when getting tickets isn't feasible.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure he'll appreciate you thoughtful gesture of friendship.

What should I do for my 15th birthday?

A. Why not take some of your friends either bowling or roller skating ? Most of those places have package deals where they will supply snacks,drinks and birthday cakes if you'd like.Then after that take everyone back to you house to open birthday gifts and enjoy a movie. Happy birthday !

Well I don't know if you guys are still in college or not. (But if you are, I'm sure you stay up pretty late sometimes studying.
So I would suggest something from Starbucks.
They have these coffee kits and they come with like 6 types of coffee that's really good. (It's $12.00)
OR there is this other kind that has just one type of coffee along with some Swiss Chocolate. (It's $8.00)

If he isn't a coffee drinker maybe get him a themed assortment basket. It could include:
- a movie he wants to see or his favorite movie
- two bags of popcorn
- some candy
- a blanked
- some snacks
- a t-shirt that relates


Something else you can do, if he's turning 21, or is over, he might be excited that he can legally drink. So you could get him:
- an assortment of some drinks that he would like.
- a gift card to a nearby bar (or something along those lines)

None of these are really expensive but if you are on a really low budget maybe you could do one of these:
- give him like a "pass" that says like one whole day to do whatever you like.
- make him dinner and have a "you two" day/night. along with a little something like a box of chocolates.
