My grandmother is in her 80's and recently went through some major surgery. She loves pictures but she has a ton of them along with random knickknacks. She lives in an apartment now so she has limited space. Any ideas for a birthday gift are appreciated.
My father actually got her a digital picture frame for Christmas... Thanks though! I think it might actually be one of her favorite gifts.

Creative, cheap gift ideas to a grandmother from an infant?

It is my mother's birthday this weekend and I want to do something special for her that is specifically from my 7 month old son. Obviously, he can't actually do anything or make anything himself but I am trying to think of something creative. I will most likely make a card and say it's from him and maybe trace his hand on the card or something but any other ideas?

Trace his hands or put them in ink and "stamp" them onto paper-you could write "When a Baby is Born, So is a Grandmother" or something like that.

How "creative" are you with quick knick-knacks? Why not craft a simple (and handy) device that will help your Grandma to manipulate a (specific) item that she normally uses around the house?
OR...... You can "dress up" an item around her house (again - think CREATIVE).......
OH! How about "dressing up" / or PAINTING a shoe spoon to serve as a soup ladle-holder (on her kitchen table) to prevent the soup from spotting her table?
