Check on Amazon.com. You wouldn't believe the stuff they have now. A man I know just had a case of Hamburger Helper delivered to his younger brother (don't ask).

My husband got me some of those chocolate covered strawberries for Mother's day from the Sherries Berries company. They were delivered right to the front door and were huge!! There were only 9-10 but they were so good and my kids loved them too! They have all kinds of chocolate covered things like fruit and cookies and other stuff that is something that makes a great gift!!! The web site is sherriesberries.com . They are an unusual gift and something I never would have thought of myself!

canceled due to high winds. I need a romantic, fun idea for this evening for my fiance. Something she would not expect.

Answer
Picnic in the park. Flowers delivered to the house or where she works, or at college if she's in college. Fill a room with balloons. Literally top to bottom wall to wall full of balloons.

What should I do for a 12th birthday party?

CassidyJo

My cousin is celebrating her 12th, and I need some party ideas. I was thinking LaserQuest then sleepover. Or a hike and swim at our lake, then a sleepover. Anything with a sleepover. Something not to expensive please! Thanks!

The 5 Ingredients to a Great Birthday Party

1. Food
Food brings people together. Whether it is birthday, wedding, funeral or graduation, one thing is for sure... there will be food! Serving food at a Children's birthday party does not have to be extravagant. The less complex the meal, the more enjoyable. Preparing traditional hot dogs and hamburgers is safe, easy and liked among all ages. The only other things you have to remember is, potato chips, condiments, a fresh veggie tray, and some disposable plates.

Don't forget the birthday cake. I recommend making your own with the birthday child. Don't stress about the cooking experience, the directions are on the box.

2. music
There is a simple solution to music at your child's birthday party. If you don't already have an ipod go get one. While you are there, pick-up an ipod dock that will play music through small speakers. These are perfect for backyard and indoor use. Utilizing an ipod is a perfect solution because you can create a "playlist" that includes a selection of music appropriate for the party.

If all this ipod and itunes stuff is too futuristic for you, simply ride your 2-horse wagon over to Best-buy and pick up a party mix CD.

3. Friends and Family
Friends and family are a necessary ingredient to a birthday party. Not only do they enhance the atmosphere, but they bring gifts, food, and most important; conversation and laughter.

Since birthday parties typically happen on the weekends, let your guests know about the party as far in advance as possible.

4. Games
There are two options to having games at your party. The first is do a little research and come up with your own. Did you know you can print "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" from several websites? The second option is to contact your local party company for more serious games. Some local party rental companies carry Giant Chess boards, Spin Art, Sandy Candy, and random carnival game booths.

Games also include inflatables and jumpers. It is always better to rent from a reputable company who is licensed with your city. Some party jump companies have packages that can make party planning a lot less work for you.

5. Entertainment
Entertainment comes in many shapes and sizes. Depending on your wallet size you can invite balloon sculpting clowns, face painting clowns, juggling clowns and game leading clowns. My recommendation is to have a visiting character. It is becoming more and more popular for children's parties and it is very affordable. Depending on the theme of your party you can have a Spiderman, Disney Princess or themed character deliver balloons to your child's party and take pictures with the children.

Sorry ladies, I do not think Tarzan is good option for any child's party.

Can I drop a bday gift for a Police Officer I know at the PRECINT where he works?

Will I get him in trouble if I drop a birthday gift for a police oficer at the precint where he works? Any ideas on how to package it so it wont really look like a gift but still look nice?
I usually dont see him so I need to give it to him tonight. (he works the night tour)

Answer
why don't you just send a fedex with a gift card or buy some prepared mc card that can be used at any restaurant send some menus that deliver as well.

i would think that you should not give a gift to ONE of the police as it may may him / her look bad . especially if the gift is more than 25.00 . i'd send something that the team of police could share . i wouldn't send home cooked food as many people follow special diets / don't know your kitchen and might be concerned to partake.

send a gift box with treats (like a Harrdy David gift basket) that can be shared or send some little cards that they can order something and enjoy together

How to Surprise my husband with his birthday gift?

M

I am buying him a motorcycle. I had a few ideas of how to surprise him.
I was going to have a pod delivered to our house and put it in the pod.
I was thinking of having someone come to his office and act like they are going to repo his truck that is paid for and then give him the motorcycle.
I am not sure if these will work. He does not show his emotions very much so to get a rise out of him would be great.
Any ideas?

Answer
anyway you can buy the bike hide it at the neighbours till he turns in for the night go outside then put a big bow on it ( unless you think it will get stolen) depends on your neighbourhood. anyways put it in the drive way for him to see it in the morning when he goes to work.

thats one idea.

have one of his friends in on the deal without telling your husband ask your friend to come over and show off his new bike and have him say isn't it a beauty. and hopefully your husband will say yeah sweet wouldn't mind one like that. then you can tell him suprise this is your birthday gift its for YOU.

3. or have a party for your husband invite all his friends over to your house and a certain point of day have one of his male friends bring the bike to your drive way put a big bow or a balloon on it all ready to go and then have your husband come to the window and tell him something like look outside pick a reason for him to go to the window and then all of you yell suprise happy birthday.

Thats very nice of you. He'll love it im sure. You give good presents. can i come over when its my birthday pleaseeeeeeeee lol
