Gift ideas for boyfriends 19th birthday?

Judice

So we've been together for a little more than a year now and i want to give him something thats he'll love but that is sentimental as well (nothing sappy or too lovey dovey though because were not that type of couple). He loves the outdoors, your standard xbox shooters like COD and MW3, anything transformers or superhero related. Im in a real stump because he seems to have everything imaginable. To help out a bit for Christmas i gave him a hoodie that said "bazinga" and an iron man light up t-shirt. His birthday is on the 10th of august and im willing to spend up to $80.00 any ideas?
He allergic to most perfumes and colognes, and his hobbies include model trains and watching movies and shows, some of his favourite include Dexter, The Listener, game of thrones, and transformers, he's also moving into his first apartment this year so maybe something for that? thanks in advance everyone! XD

There are a lot of fun places to shop online... Think Geek has always been one of my favorites when it comes to buying gift for my husband.

Another place I look is on http://www.perpetualkid.com/just-arrived.aspx

I also like looking on Etsy-- Just search for some of his interests and you can find some fun stuff. I searched for Dexter on there and this is what came up:

As for his apartment, you could find a lot of different things for that. You could make him a small gift basket focused on one room or area of his house.
Like for bathroom, you could inlcude a shaving kit, bathtowels and wash clothes, toothbrush holder, shower curtain and bath mats that all match. Or maybe have a desk gift basket that includes a cool lamp, a mouse pad, pencil holder, and different office supplies. You could get all that stuff at Wal-Mart or Target.

One year when my husband and I were still dating I bought us matching Nerf guns... we usually buy two a year to add to our collection and its become a fun tradition for us. :) Its fun to surprise him when he gets home by shooting him with a dart, lol.

I love making gift baskets and setting themes for them-- you could use one of his favorite shows as a theme. Or even like a Nerf gun theme.

Have fun and be creative :)

At the age of 1, the party is for YOU and Grandma... Not the kid...

I'm not kidding here... You could lock the kid in a closet while all the adults get drunk to calibrate the baby's 1st birthday and then jingle some keys in front of her the next day and there will be absolutely no difference between that and if you spent a million dollars on clowns and toys and a cake the size of your home.

Put the money you want to spend on a party and toys into a savings account for her...

Until the age of about 3, nothing you do that is Positive will really accomplish anything. The ONLY real things that have an impact on a child before the age of 5 are negative things...

So focus on not hitting the kid, not being intoxicated in front of the kid, getting any mental illness treated and under control, make sure that she has a HEALTHY AND STABLE family of origin so that in these prime developmental years, her brain biology develops in a healthy way...

Having a perfectly healthy family results in a "Normal Adult" but even the slightest bit of abuse/trauma/chaos in the family of origin damages the brain and even even alters her genetic development and increase the risk of cancer, diabetes, obesity, addiction, etc.

Give your child the best birthday present you can give her and work on making yourself and your husband HEALTHY PEOPLE that won't screw her up and damage her mentally and physically.

(I don't know you... I'm just playing the statistical odds that you have issues that need to be worked on.)

^They demonstrate the impact of damaged parents on otherwise healthy offspring by taking a "Depressed Mouse" and a "Healthy Mouse" and swap their babies out so that the "Genetically Heatlhy" mice were raised by the "Depressed Mother" and the babies with the genetics for depression were raised by the "Healthy Mother" and the HEALTHY babies raised by the depressed mother ended up unhealthy, fat, depressed, and it even changed their fur color... While the babies with the genetics for depression grew up to be healthy and happy mice.

This has been shown to be the case with humans, too, since 2005 when they released this documentary.

ALL that matters is what YOU and the father do to stay healthy because THAT will impact your child more than anything you can 'Buy' for her.
