She is NOT a girly girl and is somewhat goth
She has short hair so styling tools are not an option
She already has a phone. NO PHONE ACCESSORIES!
She's artistic-ish
She does not want music

I need ideas for an annual birthday gift theme for boys. For my daughter, starting with her first birthday we've given her moderately priced ($25-40) bracelets each year. But for my son we aren't sure what he may enjoy or appreciate as the years pass. Ideally it will be something he can use at the time, but also a keepsake he'll enjoy as the years pass. Ideas?

Consider an event, not a thing, like taking him to the local pro teams game every year for his birthday. Or sports memorabelia, like baseball cards that can increase in value, or comic books. Lastly, coins. Get him the set of mint condition coins from the us treasury.
