Any ideas on what I could get a 13 yr old boy for his birthday. Something fun & educational and something constructive.
He likes to read books, write stories, basketball
Things I'm not planning to get: laptop, video games (because he has those things).

I have a nephew that is 12 & one that is 14 both have birthdays coming up in September. For the past two years for birthdays they have received Game Stop gift cards from us; for Christmas gifts they have received a hoody of their favorite college football team or race car driver, and Axe body wash set & a stocking full of their favorite candy & gum. Both boys tell our whole family that they get the best presents from us :-)
For their birthday this year we are giving the Visa gift cards that we purchased at our bank; those can be spent anywhere.
They are at an age where we just didn't know where to go with the gifts - too old for toys; have every video game already, we were just clueless but apparently we've managed to figure these two out pretty well - hope this helps you out!

What do I get my girlfriend for her birthday?

Her birthday is January 3rd and I have no idea what to get her. I'm already getting her flowers, but what else? I got her a diamond pendent necklace for Christmas so I was thinking of something more personal/experience? My budget's about $150. I was thinking of concert tickets but that doesn't feel very...personal, though it is an experience. Any ideas? Maybe a gift bag of small things?
I'm really in a pickle here, haha.
btw, we're both juniors in college.

1. Do you know what she likes? Girls (and possibly boys?) like it when you think about what to get them, and although they DO like the thing that a lot of guys would get them, it's nice whenever you think about what to get them. I like the flowers and the necklace.
What is she studying? You could get her something related to that. Concert tickets sound nice, I know i would enjoy it! :3 It's nice that you're taking time to think about what to get her <3
