over. Its going to be at my house. have like a week to prepare. help me grownups? or other teens? tips, ideas etc. Mostly females with a few guys attending. Also, do people give teenagers presents still at birthday parties? I havent had a bday party in years or been to many. if i get gifts are thank you notes still done? i've never recieved one from a teen I gave a gift to. Lucky if I got a verbal thank you. Those things really aren't done anymore are they? I always say thank you though. Would a thank you text be okay? my parent probably wouldent buy me thank you notes to send anyway. Also if gifts are given still at bday parties aproximately how much is spent on them? (just so i'll know) also is it in the usual not to be ask what you want by many people? a few close friends i always exchange gifts with ask me what i want but, no one else did does that mean i probably wont get anything from them? is pizza a good food to serve? what about chips and dip? anywhere from 10-35 is an expected number of guests. Like fifty are invited but few rsvp anymore so its hard to know a number and many when ask "don't know" or "maybe" if they're coming. I think about twenty-twenty five will attend 35 AT THE MOST and out of the ones invited to sleep over i expect 6-10 total. Thanks!

Answer
-Most teens don't give or get presents at birthdays any more unless it's by their best best friend or bf/gf.

-Thank you notes aren't really expected, but it would be a nice gesture. Especially if it's a really nice or creative gift. Sometimes if you all have facebooks you can write it on their facebook walls lol. Thank you texts would probably be perfect.

-Most people don't give gifts like i said, and if they do, especially by older teens, they can't use moms money to buy gifts anymore. Therefore most gifts will probably be under 20 dollars.

-If no one ask what you want you probably won't get gifts by them. If you have 35 guests, expect maybe a total of 3 or 4 gifts

-Pizza would be great to serve. What i do when i have a large crowd is before everyone gets there go ahead and cut the already 8 slices of pizza into 16 slices. So each box is double. Most people go to parties expecting appetizers not full meals. Cheese dip is also great and really easy to make and goes great with the typical party food. Have a few common chips. And a few liters of coke and what not.

Good luck :) try not to stress to much, everyone's going to have fun.

Oh and Happy Birthday (whenever it may be)

Middle School Boy Birthday Gift Ideas?

thyitamori

I am trying to think of different gifts I could give. Me and my friend are doing a gift exchange because we have very close birthdays. He is in middle school and he really likes basketball. I already have part of the gift, but I want to give him something else, too. Any middle school boys have an idea thats under 10 dollars? (oh and i already tried ebay.)

Answer
