Birthday gift ideas for a 2 year old girl....?

I looked at Walmart yesterday and just didn't see anything that I thought was age appropriate for a 2 year old girl. It seemed that there were baby toys then big girl toys, nothing really in between. Most of the doll houses had little pieces, she already has a play kitchen.....

Any ideas? Thanks!

My niece is turning 2 this weekend and I have no idea what to buy her for her birthday. I don't want to spend a lot of money and would like to buy something she could really use besides clothes.

We just got done birthday shopping for my daughter and she'll be two in a couple weeks. We got her a play kitchen,fake food(to go with), a baby stroller, a playdoh sea set, a strawberry shortcake movie, a princess pop up chair, view master, and some random little kids toys from the dollar store.

ball(all kids love balls)

toy phone
mr. potato head
babydoll with bottles
fur real friends( baby animals that move and make noise and come with a bottle)super cute
